Both the Systems Analysis and the Systems Design Tests are 20 question multiple-choice tests. Both tests are under one cover. Each test requires 40 minutes for administration.
The newly revised Systems Analysis and Systems Design Tests assess a candidate's proficiency in the analysis and design phases of the systems analysis "life cycle". These two tests may be taken together or separately.
SYSTEMS ANALYSIS TEST
Content areas include: Cost/ Benefit Analysis, Cost Estimation, Planning, Data Collection, System Evaluation for Selection or Enhancement, and Knowledge of User Requirements.
SYSTEMS DESIGN TEST
Content areas include: Data Collection, User Requirements, System Evaluation, System Design, Software Knowledge, Reporting Requirements, and Control Procedures.
